Cube RE achieved planning permission via permitted development to convert 17 offices into 34 riverfront apartments. Cube built a pier, introducing new river bus stop on the Thames Clipper network. A vacant office building was refurbished as 8 units and relet, setting a new headline rent for the area. Provision of a shared business lounge with meeting rooms and breakout facilities for the benefit of commercial occupiers and residents was completed as part of the refurbishment.
Results
Successful repositioning of dilapidated offices with delivery of 34 new riverfront homes. The office space and business lounge have established a thriving SME community.
