Stuart Loggie comments: "Originally developed in the late 1980s, Plantation Wharf was a groundbreaking 'live-work' estate of 100,000 sq ft of offices with 200 homes on the southbank of the Thames. When we purchased it for the Picasso fund, the estate required a fresh approach, a more intensive management regime and new vision to unlock its potential.
"Today Plantation Wharf is facing a new and vibrant stage of its evolution. Balancing the mixed use, we've won planning consent for a further 50 apartments together with a pier which will provide a new Thames riverbus stop and residential moorings.
"The new development and pier will radically improve the estate's infrastructure and bring more activity to the location."
