This former Victorian warehouse was subject to a comprehensive refurbishment, retaining the original character facade whilst providing light and spacious new office accommodation, suitable for media and other companies seeking unusual and inspiring office space.

Jonathan Lawes comments: "From Victorian warehouse to a home to 21st century fashionistas is quite a journey but pretty much sums up transformation of the Phoenix Brewery in West London. Along the way it was also home to the legendary Chrysalis Records but after we bought it in 2010, there was an opportunity to comprehensively refurbish the building and reposition in it in the market place as a natural home for occupiers from the creative industries.

"Chrysalis retained a smaller presence in the building which freed up most of the 35,000 sq ft of offices. Before they could be brought to market, we carried out a comprehensive refurbishment which created stunning contemporary interiors. It attracted a string of media and creative businesses including Live Nation, Pink Lining, Charlotte Olympia and Clearpoint Media."

In March 2013, Cubemaker sold the investment for £11.5m to a private investor at a net initial yield of 6.72%.
