Donna Ida joins fashion set at Phoenix Brewery

Specialist denim fashion retailer, Donna Ida, has taken space at the Phoenix Brewery office development in West London for its UK headquarters.

The company set up by "jean queen" Donna Ida Thornton will occupy 1,270 sq ft on a five-year lease. Other fashion-related occupiers in the building include Charlotte Olympia, Pink Lining and Cutler Agencies.

Owned by Cube Real Estate's Cubemaker fund, the former Chrysalis Records office building in Bramley Road has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment since Cube purchased the freehold in 2010. The offices are five minutes walk away from Westfield shopping centre.

Jonathan Lawes of Cube Real Estate comments: "In addition to the companies who've been attracted to our building, the whole area is becoming a fashion and design hotspot with Stella McCartney, Cath Kidston and Monsoon all within a short walk".

Donna Ida Thornton added: "The space is perfect for a modern, dynamic business and we are excited to have joined Phoenix Brewery. Donna Ida is expanding as we have recently announced plans to launch a high-waisted denim collection called IDA from SS13 next year."

The building is now 79% let with less than 6,500 sq ft remaining available in suites from 1,200 sq ft through letting agents, Hanover Green, Frost Meadowcroft and JMW Barnard.
